FR - Le président français Macron a dressé le bilan des JO à l'issue des Jeux, en faisant l'éloge de l'organisation, lors d'un entretien à l'Equipe : "Les Jeux ont été réussis sur tous les plans, ceux qui étaient contre ont eu tort" et a ajouté qu'il était fier de les Français : « Il n'y a qu'un perdant, l'esprit des perdants » Selon le président français « Tous ceux qui nous expliquaient, pendant 7 ans, que c'était une folie d'accueillir les JO, que la cérémonie d'ouverture sur la Seine était imprudent du point de vue sécurité, qu'on n'aurait pas eu assez de médailles, que ça aurait été un gouffre financier, qu'on n'aurait pas pu plonger dans la Seine... et au final pourtant, nous avons réussi, nous l'avons fait!". Le président français a ensuite commenté en complimentant tous les experts : "C'était quelque chose d'extraordinaire et c'est le résultat d'un travail collectif. Et c'est la démonstration que la France, lorsqu'elle est unie, peut faire de grandes choses". L'optimisme de Macron a reçu des confirmations faisant autorité. Les organisateurs espèrent des retombées positives pouvant atteindre 11,14 milliards d'euros par rapport aux dépenses de 8,8 milliards d'euros.
La Banque centrale française (Banque de France) s'attend à "une hausse significative" du produit intérieur brut du pays au troisième trimestre, qui pourrait augmenter de près de 0,5% grâce à l'effet positif des Jeux olympiques.

The organizers hope for positive effects of up to 11.14 billion euros compared to the expenditure of 8.8 billion euros.
The French Central Bank (Banque de France) expects "a significant increase" in the country's gross domestic product in the third quarter, which could rise by almost 0.5% thanks to the positive effect of the Olympic.
IT - Il presidente francese Macron ha fatto il punto sulle Olimpiadi a chiusura dei giochi elogiando, nel corso di una intervista a l'Equipe, l'organizzazione: "Giochi riusciti in tutto, chi era contro si è sbagliato" e ha aggiunto di essere fiero dei francesi: “C'è soltanto uno sconfitto, lo spirito dei perdenti” Secondo il presidente francese "Tutti quelli che ci hanno spiegato, per 7 anni, che era una follia ospitare le Olimpiadi, che la cerimonia di apertura sulla Senna era un'incoscienza dal punto di vista della sicurezza, che non avremmo avuto abbastanza medaglie, che sarebbe stato finanziariamente una voragine, che non saremmo riusciti a tuffarci nella Senna...e alla fine, invece, ci siamo riusciti, l'abbiamo fatto!".
Il presidente francese ha poi chiosato facendo i complimenti a tutti gli addetti ai lavori: "È stato qualcosa di straordinario ed è il frutto di un lavoro collettivo. Ed è la dimostrazione che la Francia, quando è unita, sa fare grandi cose".
I costi ammontano a 8,8 miliardi di euro. Gli organizzatori sperano in ricadute positive fino a 11,14 miliardi di euro.
In questo quadro, l a Banque de France ha diffuso dati che hanno confermato l'ottimismo di Macron. Nel suo bollettino del 9 agosto si legge di "un aumento significativo" del prodotto interno lordo del Paese nel terzo trimestre, grazie all'effetto positivo dei Giochi Olimpici. L'istituto stima un "l'impatto transitorio" dei Giochi "dell'ordine di un quarto di punto", ovvero dello 0,25%, che si sommerebbe ad un 0,2% gia previsto di crescita ordinaria sommando complessivamente un incremento dello 0,5%.
Anche la Banca centrale conferma che, alla ripresa dell'attività politica dopo olimpiadi e vacanze agostane, sarà la prova della governabilità del sistema ad essere o meno una ulteriore leva di crescita in Francia.
