EU/ITA - Nel corso di aprile 2026, lo Scudo Democratico Europeo (la presentazione nel novembre del 2025 della Commissione europea) ha completato una metamorfosi profonda, passando dall'essere un quadro di principi teorici a diventare una vera e propria infrastruttura di "difesa cognitiva" integrata. Questo mese rappresenta lo spartiacque in cui le nuove normative europee sull’Intelligenza Artificiale e sulla libertà dei media hanno iniziato a operare in modo sinergico, creando un ambiente digitale radicalmente diverso rispetto a quello degli anni precedenti.
La novità più rilevante di questo periodo è l'attivazione a pieno regime del Centro Europeo per la Resilienza Democratica. In queste settimane di aprile del 2026, il Centro ha smesso di essere solo un osservatorio per diventare un centro di comando operativo che coordina le risposte alle minacce ibride in tempo reale.
