EU/EN - The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, is in Rome for a bilateral meeting between France and Italy. The Italian Prime Minister, accompanied by her military advisor Franco Federici, welcomed the President of the French Republic to Palazzo Chigi. After the performance of the anthems and the review of the Navy's honorary unit lined up in the courtyard, the two went up to the first floor for the bilateral meeting. According to what was added by the Elysée, the two will discuss Ukraine, Libya, immigration, and the war in Gaza. I bilaterali con l'Italia sono una consuetudine delle relazioni internazionali della Francia e il presidente Mattarella è da anni al lavoro per consolidarne i profili di cooperazione bilaterale rafforzata, giungendo a dargli dignità di “Trattato del Quirinale”, formalmente Trattato tra la Repubblica Italiana e la Repubblica francese.
