La Commissione Ue lancia emissione record di obbligazioni verdi

Sui mercati un green bond di 15 anni per 12 miliardi di euro

La prima emissione sui mercati da parte dell'Unione europea per alimentare il Next Generation Eu è un green bond a 15 anni, con scadenza febbraio 2037, per un valore complessivo di 12 miliardi di euro (13,87 miliardi di dollari). E' il maggior lancio di obbligazioni verdi nel mercato dei titoli di Stato fino ad oggi, superando anche l'emissione britannica di 10 miliardi di sterline dello scorso settembre. La Ue ha dato mandato a BofA Securities, Credit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, Nomura e TD Securities di guidare la vendita.

Si sono registrati ordini record per oltre 135 miliardi di euro. L'emissione è la prima di un programma Ue da 250 miliardi di euro di vendite di obbligazioni verdi, pari al 30% dell'emissione totale di Next Generation Eu, entro il 2026. L'obiettivo è assicurare i proventi da destinare agli Stati membri per finanziare gli investimenti a favore dell'efficienza energetica, l'energia pulita e l'adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici.
