Breton: preserveremo l'industria dell'Ue e il mercato unico

La Commissione proporrà una legge sulla tecnologia pulita, l'adeguamento degli aiuti di Stato e l'accelerazione dei progetti di interesse comune Ue (Ipcei).

Il commissario europeo per il Mercato interno, Thierry Breton, al termine di un incontro con il primo ministro spagnoloSanchez, in vista del vertice Ue del 9-10 febbraio, ha twittato che la Commissione Ue è al lavoro per "integrare il NextGenerationEu con soluzioni di finanziamento comune" come parte della sua risposta contro la legge sull'inflazione (Ira) degli Stati Uniti e, aggiunge Breton, sta mettendo a punto una legge sulla tecnologia pulita, l'adeguamento degli aiuti di Stato e l'accelerazione dei progetti di interesse comune Ue (Ipcei). "Preserveremo l'industria dell'Ue e il mercato unico", evidenzia.

Breton è uno dei Commissari più attivi su due fronti speicifici.

Il primo riguarda approcci innovazione sulle fonti di finanziamento comune nell'Unione. A suo tempo Breton aveva proposto insieme al commissario Gentiloni di creare un fondo per uscire dalla crisi energetica sul modello di SURE, strumento comune antidisoccupazione finanziato da emissioni di bond Ue garantite dagli stati per prestiti agli stessi stati a condizioni agevolate.

Il secondo riguarda una forte spinta alla transizione produttiva ed energetica

Notizia dello scorso dicembre è la sua decisione di creare un gruppo di esperti molto rilevante che ha iniziato a lavorare nella prima metà di dicembre "con tutte le parti: fornitori di elettricità decarbonizzata, produttori di caricatori, batterie e componenti chiave e l’industria, per accompagnare la transizione dell’automotive.

Il settore, forse più di altri, deve affrontare una trasformazione strutturale per arrivare all’obiettivo del 2035 di non vendere più motori termici sul nostro Continente. Questo target è molto importante”.
