EU/ENG - A Europolitiche delegation participated in the sixth edition of the Borsa Mediterranea della Formazione e del Lavoro (BMFL), held at Multimedia Valley in Giffoni Valle Piana from December 3 to 5, 2025. In just a few years, the event has established itself as one of the most interesting initiatives in the sector at the national level for guiding young people towards their future choices, thanks to the large number of participating organizations, managers, and experts in training and career development. The many panels shared a unifying mission focused on the future of our highly technological societies and the role that work and training can play in them. The format also included engaging hackathons among high school students and dynamic presentations of the activities of leading departments at the invited universities.
The event was a fitting opportunity to reaffirm the esteem that our Director De Chiara holds for President Giovanni D’Avenia of the Fondazione Super Sud , creator of this important event organized with the Gruppo Stratego, directed by Antonio Vitolo. Their shared passion for scenario analysis prompted President D’Avenia to ask our Director to moderate two panels, in the late morning of December 5th, aimed at providing a compass for international educational and cultural orientation for the future of the young people who had gathered at the event in large numbers.
The first panel featured Giusy Rossi, Erasmus Ambassador, and Roberto Paura, President of the Italian Institute for the Future, discussing the broad horizons of Hannah Arendt's vita activa and the story of visionary pragmatism of Sofia Corradi and her Erasmus, the European Union's most successful program. Young people's desire to Europeanize their studies and lives emerged, drawing inspiration, on the advice of experts Rossi and Paura, from courageous figures of thought and action such as Arendt and Corradi.
Ines Mainieri focused her presentation at the second panel, also introduced by our Director De Chiara, on the gentle power of ideas. This remarkable woman and intellectual, whose talent led to the creation of the Salerno Letteratura Festival, which has achieved national prominence for years, earned a standing ovation. For Ines Mainieri, teamwork is one of the secrets to building projects that foster cultural growth. The Festival's history has been and remains an experience of creative collaboration, which Mainieri described having shared with the late co-founder Durante and, over the years, with Daria Limatola and Daniela Lovisetto, who were present with her at Giffoni for the occasion, as well as the brilliant directors of recent editions, Paolo Di Paolo and Gennaro Carillo.
The panels were a debate-based extension of the reasons given by the BMFL Scientific Committee for awarding Roberto Paura, Giusy Rossi, and Ines Mainieri the blue plaques of the 2025 OrientaMenti Award.
The Borsa Mediterranea , with its 3,500 participants at Giffoni, is undoubtedly an exemplary example of how the culture of education and industriousness can be made attractive and engaging. With this spirit, the organizers have launched the invitation for the next edition, in 2026.
EU/ITA - Una delegazione di Europolitiche ha partecipato alla sesta edizione della Borsa Mediterranea della Formazione e del Lavoro (BMFL) tenutasi alla Multimedia Valley di Giffoni Valle Piana dal 3 al 5 dicembre 2025. La manifestazione è riuscita, in pochi anni, ad imporsi come una delle più interessanti iniziative di settore a livello nazionale sull'orientamento dei giovani alle loro scelte future, grazie alla folta schiera di enti partecipanti, manager e cultori della formazione e dell'avviamento al lavoro. I tanti panel hanno avuto una mission unificante orientata al futuro delle nostre società così tecnologizzate e del ruolo che lavoro e formazione possono svolgervi. Il format ha previsto anche avvincenti hackaton fra giovani delle scuole superiori e dinamiche presentazioni delle attività di dipartimenti d'eccellenza delle università invitate.
La manifestazione è stata la felice occasione per confermare la stima che lega il nostro direttore De Chiara al presidente Giovanni D’Avenia della Fondazione Super Sud, ideatore dell’importante kermesse realizzata con il Gruppo Stratego diretto da Antonio Vitolo. La comune passione per le analisi di scenario ha suggerito al presidente D’Avenia di chiedere al nostro direttore la moderazione di ben due panel, nella tarda mattinata del 5 dicembre, finalizzati a fornire una bussola di orientamento formativo internazionale e culturale per il futuro dei giovani accorsi numerosi all’evento.
Il primo panel ha visto a confronto Giusy Rossi, Ambasciatrice Erasmus, e Roberto Paura, presidente dell’Istituto Italiano per il Futuro, sul vasto orizzonte della vita activa di Hannah Arendt e la storia di visionario pragmatismo di Sofia Corradi e del suo Erasmus, il noto programma di maggior successo dell’Unione europea. E' emersa la voglia dei giovani di europeizzare il percorso di studio e di vita ispirandosi idealmente, su consiglio degli esperti Rossi e Paura, a figure coraggiose di pensiero e di azione come la Arendt o la Corradi.
Sulla potenza gentile delle idee Ines Mainieri ha incentrato la sua relazione al secondo panel, anch'esso introdotto dal nostro direttore De Chiara. Ha strappato applausi questa donna ed intellettuale speciale, al cui talento deve la sua creazione il Salerno Letteratura Festival, giunto da anni al traguardo della rilevanza nazionale. Per Ines Mainieri è il team working uno dei segreti per costruire progetti di crescita della promozione culturale. La storia del Festival è stata ed è una esperienza di coralità creativa che la Mainieri ha raccontato di aver vissuto con il compianto cofondatore Durante e negli anni con Daria Limatola e Daniela Lovisetto, presenti con Lei a Giffoni per l'occasione, nonchè i brillanti direttori delle ultime edizioni Paolo Di Paolo e Gennaro Carillo.
I panel sono stati l’estensione in forma di dibattito delle motivazioni addotte dal comitato scientifico della BMFL per consegnare proprio a Roberto Paura, Giusy Rossi e Ines Mainieri, le targhe azzurre del Premio OrientaMenti 2025.
Sicuramente la Borsa Mediterranea di Giffoni, con i suoi 3500 partecipanti, è un caso esemplare di come la cultura della formazione e dell'operosità possa essere resa attraente e attrattiva. Con questo spirito gli organizzatori hanno lanciato l'invito per la prossima edizione, quella del 2026.
